Subhanallah, this is beautiful on so many levels.
Firstly, this man, given the opportunity to depart Gaza, rejected it. Why? Because and I quote, “I want to be an Imam of our Masjids, this year in Gaza.” Allahu Akbar!!
Secondly, he returned to our Creator, in the best state(Fasting) during the best Month. May Allah accept him. Allahu Akbar!!
Thirdly, what are the chances he started with, “And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision” 3:169 This is no coincidence. Rather it’s Qadr that this man read literally the most appropriate verses given the circumstances.
Fourthly, his voice. #OneWord : Beautiful. Need I say more?
#Ponder #Reflect #Act There is nothing more pleasing to a Believer than knowing that Allah is their Lord and their reward and rizq is from Him! Verily He Never allows for the deeds of the believers to go to waste! These ayaat are perfect for the situation now in the Muslim world!
O Allaah, forgive and have mercy upon him, excuse him and pardon him, and make honorable his reception. Expand his entry, and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice, and purify him of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. Exchange his home for a better home, and his family for a better family, and his spouse for a better spouse. Admit him into the Garden, protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.’
Ya Ummati, do not forget to keep our fallen Ummah at the hands of The Oppressors in your Duaas. Make duaa for them, as if they were of your own. Inshallah.
Subhanallah. May Allah accept them. May Allah reunite them in Jannah Al–Firdous. May Allah grant their loved ones beautiful patience. May Allah make us amongst those whom invest in each others Akhirah. May Allah grant us a grand meeting with our Brothers and Sisters in Jannah.
